"English telescope. Main tube covered with tortoiseshell. Four drawtubes covered with green marbled leather, richly tooled with floral motifs, stars and crescents (almost identical to the preceding telescope). Brass curved fittings and protective slides. Unsigned. Presumably mid-eighteenth century" (Louwman and Zuidervaart, 2013).
