Main tube is 36 mm in diameter, covered in red Moroccan leather, heavily gold-tooled with floral motifs and scroll patterns. Three draw tubes covered in dark green vellum; leather ferrules tooled in same manner as main tube. No objective glass or eyepiece. Objective mount is screw-threaded. Erector tube has boxwood mounts for three lenses (missing). Tube is covered with red/yellow/mauve marbled paper. Single extension marks on first and second draws. Triple marks on third draw.
